　　北京四中英语教研组组长、北京四中网校主讲教师方芳，就高考英语阅读理解应考技巧给各位考生一些建议，希望对考生有所帮助。

　　阅读理解在整个试卷中是占时间非常长的一项。在准备阅读的过程中，不光是要看高考真题中的文章，还要看一些英文的报纸、杂志等等。

　　高考英语阅读理解的命题特点

　　1、题材、体裁多样，紧跟时代及热点问题。

　　2、对阅读速度和词汇的要求进一步提高。每分钟应该达到70个词。词汇量要求达到3500词，有能力的同学应该争取更多。

　　3、语篇意识加强，设题手法灵活，提问深入。

　　4、文章实用性强。

　　近年各地阅读涉及的文化及热点问题：美国城市，民族文化，艺术（博物馆)，文学作品作者， 名人，回收利用 recycling, 资源短缺, 清洁能源 考驾照，网络， 垃圾邮件 spam，索马里海盗 ，广告，信息检索，最新科技 （苹果手机）。从这里我们也可以看出高考阅读理解的文章是包罗万象的。 这就要求大家在最后的时间里做题不要"挑食"，不喜欢的类型也要去阅读。

　　We are fortunate that in such a large, high-pressure office we all get along so well. You are one of the people who keep the social temperature at such a comfortable setting. I don't know anyone in the office who is better liked than you.

　　You can perhaps help with this. The collection of contributions towards gifts for employees' personal-life events is becoming a little troubling. Certainly, the group sending of a gift is reasonable now and then. 　　The evidence for harmony may not be obvious in some families. But it seems that four out of five young people now get on with their parents, which is the opposite of the popularly held image of unhappy teenagers locked in their room after endless family quarrels.

　　An important new study into teenage attitudes surprisingly shows that their family life is more harmonious than it has ever been in the past. "We were surprised by just how positive today's young people seem to be about their families," said one member of the research team."They're expected to be rebellious and selfish but actually they have other things on their minds; they want a car and material goods, and they worry about whether school is serving them well. There's more negotiation and discussion between parents and children, and children expect to take part in the family decision-making process. They don't want to rock the boat."

　　So it seems that this generation of parents is much more likely than parents of 30 years ago to treat their children as friends. "My parents are happy to discuss things with me and willing to listen to me," says 17-years-old Daniel Lazall. "I always tell them when I'm going out clubbing. As long as they know what I'm doing, they're fine with it."Susan Crome, who is now 21, agrees. "Looking back on the last 10 years, there was a lot of what you could call negotiation. For example, as long as I'd done all my homework, I could go out on a Saturday night. But I think my grandparents were a lot stricter with my parents than that."

　　Maybe this positive view of family life should not be unexpected. It is possible that the idea of teenagers rebellion is not rooted in real facts. A researcher comments," Our surprise that teenagers say they get along well with their parents comes because of a brief period in our social history when teenagers were regarded as different beings. But that idea of rebelling and breaking away from their parents really only happened during that one time in the 1960s when everyone rebelled. The normal situation throughout history has been a smooth change from helping out with the family business to taking it over."

　　在高考阅读理解中，中心思想的考题也经常出现。大家在做这样的题目时一定要关注这篇文章的首段、尾段以及中间各段的第一句话。有的时候中心思想还会出现在首段的最后一句。

　　这篇文章有题目，同学们在做阅读的时候，如果遇到有题目的文章一定要仔细看题目。重点看红色字的句子。这些关键句子对正确作答这道题目非常重要，句子中出现了get on with、harmonious、not rooted in real facts等关键词。正确答案是C.

　　猜测代词

　　Alcohol may take a few minutes to be absorbed into the bloodstream and start action on the brain. Absorption rate is increased when drinking on an empty stomach or when consuming drinks mixed with fruit juice. To get rid of alcohol from the body is a very slow process and it is not possible to speed it up with any measures like taking a shower or having a cup of tea or coffee.

　　这一段主要讲到酒精的问题。注意绿色的句子，去除掉体内的酒精是一个非常缓慢的过程，而这个过程是即使用任何方法都不能加速的。通过这句话就可以判断，划线的it 的正确意思是D 。

　　除了猜测熟词和代词，高考中也会考察新词的意思。但是在考察新词的时候也主要是考察对于新词的理解。所以在遇到猜测词义的题目时至少往前后看1到2句话，这样有助于判断词义。
